Is this heart really Thickheaded?
Because, he still remembers the moment,
He saw her at the witching hour stepping down the stair
There she was, clad in a White and grey pair
Skipping a beat out of his heart
There she stood, just like a strawberry on an apple Tart.
This was the beginning of an appraising time of his life
He had already imagined, “I am the husband and she is the wife”.
Tryiung to amuse her in all the ways he could
He started learning the string instrument, thiking she would
Get impressed and see him as the modern day Robinhood
He enjoyed showing her how to play the strings
In his mind, Just to see her smile was the only thing
From making excuses to watching movies with the girl of his dream
The century old computer, became their weekly routine
He was surprised when his mobile rang and flashed her name
His happiness had no boundaries,
Excited, he felt he had won the love game
Possessive he was, guarding her while her way back home,
His own legs trembled as he saw her face as beautiful as the Moon.
The sun wasn’t brighter, the moon wasn’t serene
He had accepted her as his Only Queen.
Walking miles long to get her glimpse
He never missed a chance
As happy as a quoka, As excited as the Chimps
His empty room had seen him go mad and dance.
The microwaves were jealous of the delicious Cake,
He wasn’t ready for his heart to break.
They went seeing palaces and cascade
He always thought, the memories remain and the tans fade.
His tum was a habitat to butterflies
Her smile was one thing he would even die
She was always a doll that breathed
While finding words to describe her, his tongue seized
As far as the Spire, As distant as the moon
She is all set to go, snatching away his boon.
He still wakes up in the morning
waiting for a text from her which says,
I love you, Darling!
